Qualifications

  • CPA or candidate with minimum 4 years current public accounting firm experience
  • Experience planning and performing audits of privately held companies and employee benefit plans
  • Commensurate knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and generally accepted auditing standards
  • Strong workpaper documentation
  • Plan, prepare and review compiled, reviewed and audited financial statements
  • Light supervision of junior staff
  • Work closely with client management, partners and staff to coordinate projects from planning through issuance
  • Perform research on complex accounting issues
  • Proficient with Caseware or Prosystem Engagement and PPC audit programs
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Experience with paperless work environment
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple ongoing engagements
